SATCOM Mod Now Hosted on Server 2
@everyone After a successful playtest of the SATCOM mod we are happy to announce we will be hosting this mod for the foreseeable future.
Server 2 will be where this mod is hosted. If you have not tried this mod out, it is a real time strategy mod. This mod is similar to
Command and Conquer Renegade and Silica.
Basic Play
Commander
- Commander is the only one able to build and spawn vehicles. Keep the commander happy and supplied on build to get your vehicles and helis.
- If a commander successfully builds a superweapon, which takes 10 minutes and can be destroyed by enemies, and fires it, that team wins the game.
- Construction is used for purchasing vehicles, base defenses, and helicopters. If you like to fly CAS, this mod will not leave you waiting 10 minutes for one.
Players
- Main objective of this mod is to destroy the enemy main base.
- Players drive empty logistic trucks to resource depots to bring construction back to main base. Resource depots have limited build but regen, so try another one if the closest depot is low.
- Players can directly attack the enemy main. Once the health of the main hits 0, players need to arm an uplink and protect it to win the game.
- Players will need to defend their own main base from attacks.
- Players can capture points to increase the construction you passively gain at main. No transportation required.
- If all points are captured and held, a timer will appear to win the game.
- Radios and HABs can be placed as normal.
Rules Nullified on Server 2
- Rule 5: All vehicles are First Come - First Serve.
- Rule 7: Do not solo vehicle requiring a crewman kit.
- Rule 9: Do not engage in or out within 400m of the main base. If an active point or FOB is within 600m of main, the protect zone reduces to 250m.
- Rule 10: Ambush routes near the enemy main are limited to 5 players per team. Only light vehicles and no placing FOB.
